Whistlejacket Equine Surgery receives -
RCVS accreditation
Our practice is focussed solely on the care and treatment of horses in the Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire areas. We are very proud of the fact that we are one of a very few equine veterinary practices awarded the Tier 2 Equine General Veterinary Practice Accreditation by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
What does this mean for you? As an RCVS accredited equine veterinary practice, our clients can expect that we are able to provide a high quality of care and service. As an accredited practice, we have passed an inspection focussed on a range of areas, including hygiene, health and safety, legal requirements, clinical governance and quality of facilities and equipment. In addition to complying with these core standards, we also have laboratory facilities for diagnostic testing, have a system for monitoring the outcome of treatments and show commitment to the education and training of our staff. This is an ongoing obligation as we are subject to spot checks.
The practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative and not all practices are part of it. But we are committed to providing the best for our patients and believe that being part of the RCVS practice standards scheme is the best way that we can demonstrate that passion.
